The Crane Elevator is designed for removing the root from its socket. The elevator is inserted into a hole drilled within the root measuring 3 millimeters deep for best results.

The dentist then uses the elevator's angled shaft to lift it with a lever motion efficiently. The tool has a medium hexagonal handle which provides substantial control while performing the extraction.
