Styptin is a fast-acting hemostatic formulated with 20% buffered aluminum chloride. This solution provides greater visibility for operators with its blue coloring, does not run from the application site due to its high viscosity, and releases a cranberry flavor when applied.

The hemostatic is packaged in 15 ml squeeze bottles for easy application and to block cross-contamination.
