The Amalgam Prep tip is perfect in placing, removing, and overall preparation of amalgam fillings. The amalgam fillings are placed by first drilling the tooth, removing the affected area, and then shaping the tooth for the amalgam filling.

The bur features a 19 mm Friction Grip Shank (FG) suitable for high-speed handpieces, delivering quick and efficient trimming without heat and pressure. The bur is autoclavable by 121?C/250?F for 20 minutes.
