Porcelain Etchant is a gel buffered with 9.5% hydrofluoric acid that improves the mechanical bond between porcelain and adhesive by increasing the surface area, providing an effect similar to sandblasting but is more controlled and effective.

Use for the cementation and repair of porcelain restorations to microscopically roughen the feldspathic porcelain or glass surface.
