The Carbide Operative Bur with a pear end is ideal for preparing converging walls and producing undercuts and circular interior line angles. It creates entry points and splits the roots of smaller teeth.

Each Operative Carbide bur has a tungsten carbide composition sturdier than steel and optimal for cutting and chipping instead of grinding for a much smoother finish. The head of the bur measures 0.

8 mm in diameter and 1.6 mm in length and is welded to a 19 mm friction grip (FG) shank that fits into a high-speed handpiece, delivering quick and efficient cutting without heat and pressure.

The bur is autoclavable by 132??C/269??F for more than 4 mins with the Pre-vacuum method or more than 15 mins with the Gravity Displacement method.
